Adam McKechneay

Adam McKechneay grew up in Vienna. At twelve he began trading shares through his father's brokerage account. A year later he wrote his first program: a trading app using play money, wired to real market data. The AI tools available at the time were still unreliable, so he had to work out most of it himself — that became his real education in programming.

At 14 he met Jakob Kassner in the same class at school. In May 2026 the two founded their company. The first paying client came on an afternoon after lessons: they sat down and contacted business after business until one of them listened.

Both still attend school. The work happens after lessons, usually until three in the morning.

He develops business software — the programs companies run their day on, from the first enquiry through the quote to the invoice, cut for the trade rather than off the shelf. He also builds and maintains websites and handles his clients' online marketing.

By September 2026, 35 companies had paid him and Jakob Kassner. Monthly revenue is in the five figures.
